Культовый metal open air фестиваль Wacken Open Air отметит в 2014 году свой 25-летний юбилей. Организаторы обещают грандиозное шоу и отличный состав. Вас ждет более 130 групп со всего мира, которые будут играть на 7 сценах на протяжении 3 дней.
Этот грандиозный фестиваль разменял уже четверть века. Он даже старше многих своих посетителей. Единственный фестиваль, Sold Out на который стабильно случается за долго до его начала и абсолютный рекордсмен по скорости продажи билетов. Как можно догадаться, речь идёт о Wacken Open Air. За время своего существования, Wacken превратился в полноценный город, где всегда интересно и существует масса способов провести время, развлечься и получить удовольствие, даже если бы там не выступало ни одной группы вообще. Однако, по количеству эксклюзивных шоу, устраиваемых ведущими мировыми исполнителями тяжелой музыки, Wacken так же чемпион. И никакие ненастья и непогоды не мешают десяткам тысяч людей ежегодно встречать первые дни последнего месяца лета на территории вакенской Святой Земли. Wacken любит своих посетителей, а посетители любят его, поэтому все желающие отметить 25-летиний юбилей фестиваля раскупили билеты всего за двое суток. Ни одному мероприятию подобного масштаба не удавалось даже близко подойти к такому результату. Это действительно может впечатлить.
Несмотря на то, что в этом году не заявлено громких имён типа Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath или Rammstein, несколько десятков самых востребованных групп со всего мира будут радовать своей музыкой всех, кто успел подарить себе возможность посетить это замечательное место. Специальные выступления подготовили Accept, Apocaliptica, Hammerfall, Van Canto, отмечать день рождение своего культового альбома сюда заглянул Emperor, и даже грандиозный проект Тобиаса Саммета Avantasia, давно откатавший мировой тур, даст единственное шоу в 2014 году на одной из главных сцен Wacken Open Air.

FAQ Ticket-Personalization
What does personalization mean?
A personalized Wacken Open Air ticket is linked to a specific person. This is effected by the name printed onto each festival ticket.
How does this benefit the fans? / Why personalization?
Personalization is the only effective tool against the black market. It prohibits the reselling of tickets at higher prices. We insist that YOU, i.e. the fans, who are at the core of this festival, are able to buy tickets at original prices – and not to be ripped of by scalpers.
What are the advantages for the W:O:A?
There are no direct benefits for the W:O:A. This even means an additional administrative, financial and temporal expenditure. Yet as described above, it is important for us that YOU are able to buy tickets at original prices – and not to be ripped of by some scalpers.
What about protection of privacy?
Only the necessary data will we raised and stored according to our privacy protection policy.
How does personalization prevent black market trading?
Personalization in fact prohibits any reselling of our tickets. Nobody will buy an over priced ticket, which is marked by another person’s name and therefore does not allow entry to the festival. The buyer of a ticket marked with another person's name will not be able to have it re-assigned as well. This can only be initiated by the owner of the ticket (this requires a solemn declaration and copy of personal id).
Is it possible to refund tickets?
It is not possible to refund a ticket, which has always been the policy during the past years.
Is it possible to re-sell a ticket?
A resale is permitted exclusively through the official and anonymised W:O:A ticket exchange. Please refer to ---> Ticket-Exchange
Why is it mandatory to submit names, while ordering tickets?
In order to mail all tickets as fast as possible, we have integrated the personalization procedure into the ordering process. Therefore you have to give your name and the names of all friends, for whom you are buying tickets too, while submitting your order. This also prevents scalpers from buying five tickets in order to resell them later with newly added names at overpriced rates.
Do we have to use letters of the Latin alphabet?
As the Wacken Open Air prides itself to be an international festival, you are permitted to use letters from other alphabets as long as they correspond to those in your identity cards.
Will artist or nicknames be accepted?
No. It is obligatory to use those first and family names, which correspond to your identity cards.
What happens, if I have a rather common name?
This is not a problem, as you identity card will be checked at the festival as well as in the ticket exchange.
What happens in case of illness?
It is not possible to refund a ticket even in a case of an accident or illness. For coverage in such events, you can opt in for a ticket insurance for 6.60 € by HanseMerkur during the buying process. This covers the following cases
