Utgard is the land of giants in Germanic mythology.
The band changed their name to BurialMound in 1998, but in 2005 Utgard was resurrected as a separate band.
First (Before "Northern Glory" Demo) they were called Utgard-Loke and released advance tape called "Black Moors" (Includes 3 tracks and 11:59 playing time). These songs later appeard "Northern Glory" Demo
