 Чем в музыкальном плане знаменита Австралия на тяжелой сцене? Правильно. AC/DC. Однако тут имеется образчик пауэра. Честно говоря, сюрприз. Оказывается и в Австралии способны сваять нечто удобоваримое.
Итак, музыка группы являет собой мелодический пауэр с клавишными вставками. Состав - вокал, одна гитара, бас, клавиши и ударные. Классика для этого направления. Все, в принципе неплохо, однако вокалисту надо еще поработать над собой. Нет, диапазон и возможности у него нормальные, но иногда его пение переходит в откровенный нудеж. Порадовала девушка на клавишах. Встречаются довольно интересные моменты. Да и ударник спокойно отрабатывает свои партии, в которых очень часто меняется ритм. Хотя в целом они не кажутся сложными.
Альбом связан единой концепцией и состоит из десяти глав - по одной на каждую песню. Все композиции, в принципе, ровные. Имеется три недо-баллады, которые имеют одинаковую структуру - акустическое спокойное начало и постепенное убыстрение темпа к концу. Из общей каши можно выделить следующие песни: "Reign in Fire", которая начинается и первые пару минут звучит довольно жестко, а в середине имеется спокойная клавишная вставка, "The Age of Aquarius", которая даже несмотря на некоторую перетянутость, заставляет слушать с интересом, и оригинальную "Region of Legends", которая начинается очень мелодично и быстро, к середине замедляется и утяжеляется, а затем снова ускоряется.
Как единое целое, альбом оставляет неплохое впечатление. Все довольно культурно. Однако до хитовости материалу еще далековато. Другими словами типичный середняк, хотя потенциал определенно есть. Пожалуй 7 баллов. |
